1. Support the engine with a jack and wood block
under the oil pan.
2. Remove the power steering (P/S) fluid reservoir
from the holder.
3. Remove the upper torque rod.

DTC P0506: Idle Control System RPM Lower

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data
and any on-board snapshot, and review the general
troubleshooting information.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Start the engine. Hold the engine speed
DTC P0705: Short in Transmission Range
Switch Circuit (Multiple Shift-Position Input)
NOTE:
Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board
snapshot, and review General Troubleshooting Information.
This code is caused by an electrical circuit problem
and cannot be caused by a mechanical problem in the
transmission.
